Yoga for Longevity: Joint Health & Movement Resilience Training

2-Day Immersive Training for Teachers & Students

This experiential training is designed to deepen your understanding of joint health, functional movement, and how to build a sustainable yoga practice that supports your body for life.

Day 1: Joint Intelligence & Movement Awareness

Start with a guided vinyasa yoga class focused on mobility, body awareness, and joint-specific control (including CARs and muscle activation techniques).

Essential training topics:

  • Functional joint & muscle anatomy

  • The kinetic chain and how movement affects the whole body

  • Understanding active vs. passive flexibility through live assessments

  • Exploring hypermobility with the Beighton test

  • Includes live demonstrations, interactive assessments, and Q&A.

Day 2: Strength, Sequencing & Resilience

Begin with a vinyasa yoga class exploring active backbends to emphasize strength and control over passive flexibility.

Essential training topics:

  • Intelligent sequencing for joint-safe peak poses

  • Anatomy-based strategies for long-term practice sustainability

  • Strength and resistance training principles for joint longevity

  • Wrap up with an open Q&A to integrate and apply your learning.

Robin Martin is an internationally acclaimed yoga teacher known for her intelligent, alignment-based approach that emphasizes joint longevity and purposeful, sustainable movement.

 

With 15 years of teaching experience and a dedication to mindful living, Robin creates classes that are both creative and functional—designed to support the body over time while cultivating strength, mobility, and awareness.

Her teaching invites students of all levels to move with intention, curiosity, and care. Whether in the studio, online, or on retreat, Robin blends precision with playfulness to foster a supportive and empowering practice environment.

DR. DALE BARTEK PT,DPT

Dr. Dale Bartek is a Physcial Therapist & Performance Rehab Specialist.

 

Over the past decade, he has worked with celebrities and professional athletes from nearly every major American sport to overcome chronic orthopedic aches, pains, and injuries. His unique approach has allowed both him and his clients to stay in the gym, train hard, and live pain-free—without surgeries or endless therapy.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Bartek mentors rehab and health professionals, teaching them the most up-to-date practices for helping clients recover faster, perform better, and build sustainable careers in the modern healthcare landscape.
